HSCO is looking for 2 Full-Time Veterinary Assistants for our Public Spay and Neuter Clinic. These positions provide some customer service to clients and are responsible supporting clinic veterinarians (DVM) and certified veterinary technicians (CVT) in the daily operation of a high quality, high volume spay/neuter clinic and the weekly Wellness Clinic. We are a Fear Free Clinic and Shelter. We are looking for individuals with some veterinary clinic experience, animal handling skills and a terrific attitude. P/T Animal Care Attendant - HSCO
The Humane Society of Central Oregon (HSCO) has a part-time (32/hours per week) position open for an energetic individual with compassion for animals. Join our team and help make a difference in your community! HSCO is the only open admission animal shelter in Central Oregon and cares for approximately 3,000 animals every year.
Position entails maintaining HSCO canine population, including but not limited to:
• Daily monitoring for health and behavior.
• Cleaning and sanitizing dog kennels.
• Providing enrichment (toys, walks, and playtime.)
• Daily feeding.
The ideal candidate for this position has a great attitude and can work in a fast paced, changing, and sometimes stressful environment. They understand the importance of their job and that the health and well-being on the animals in HSCO’s care starts with them.
Shift starts at 7am, which will include weekend days, and some holidays. Pay range is $12.75/hr with a 90 day review.
